My movie

Hi This is a move that I made at school. I made the song with some thing caled GarageBand. Then I put it onto I the caled Imovie HD. Next I put it on my blog for you all to see.

Going swimming

Nothing excites us more than swimming time! On Wednesday Room 13 went swimming.I loved swimming I do not know why but I just liked it.

We had to walk from school to the pools. Miss King shouted loudly  “stay together” because we were running around. So then we formed a line and walked to the pool

Splash! When Moses was ready he hopped into the pool. Ben the instructor showed us how to hop into the pool safely. “Chin on your chest and swim to the island and back” said  Ben.

“Now make a rocket with your arms and kick off the wall” Ben said. So slowly I went trying to hold my breath. “I made it made it” I said  when I got to the island.Frank went next and he looked like he was a fish.


But sadly we had to hop out of the pool because it was the next classes turn . “Out you go now” said the talented instructor Ben.

Melted Crayon art work

This term we are learning about art alive and today we are going to make a Melted Crayon picture.

To make the Melted Crayon picture me and my friend Tyrone had to get a hot glue gun and glue some crayons onto cardboard. Iisa had to paint on to a canvas a stencil of the word Create.

Using a hair dryer one of my partners Bishop was trying to melt the crayons positioned above the canvas. It dried up fast.

The art work looked  so colourful and It felt bumpy.

The Mobius Strip

‘“Cool!!!” I said,  as I was drawing a line on my half twisted paper. Me and my class were trying to making a Mobius Strip, by watching a movie on a website called The Kids Should See This. Next we had to cut the line until we reached the place we started at. Carefully I slowly cut a line in between  the paper. Then something magical happened. It became one whole circle,  but longer.

Events Centre to see Doctor Ben Carson share his story.

We watched a short movie about how reading changed
Ben Carson’s life. We listened to how reading is so special.

It all began in school when Ben was not very smart. But then

he started to read and reading turned his life around.Through this,

he become the world’s best bran surgeon.

The Crazy Hippopotamus

As the hippo was wallowing in the early morning sun, it  suddenly spied the small boat. Splashing through the water, the massive beast defended its territory. Dangerously, it swam towards the boat.

I made this  tree to demonstrate what it means to be a great learner.

I chose the word reflect because I think it will make a good learner.

The Beach

Running on the sand, I said to my sister “Watch out!” because the waves are coming. Do you “want to look for crab’s”? I said. Underneath a rock sat a crab.

Cricket

Runing beside the wickets I tryed to find a ball. 

Throwing the ball at the wickets was hard.

Luck I didn't get hit. 

Behind the wickets I saw the other team.
